 The Spiny Hill Turtle is a great starter turtle for any turtle lover. The Spiny Hill Turtle will bring lots of joy and entertainment to your home. Spiny turtles are somewhat common in zoo collections but the species is considered difficult to breed in captivity and the first one hatched in 1991. A grown-up female’s carapace can be somewhere in the range of 7 to 19 inches (18 to 48 centimeters) long. The male’s is a lot more modest at 5 to 10 inches (13 to 25 centimeters) long. The turtle’s nose is long and piglike, and its feet are completely webbed.
